Jean-Marc Jafet is one of the most famous, recorded and in-demand bass players in France. Currently he is a pillar of the Sylvain Luc and Andre Ceccarelli trios (with keyboardist Thierry Eliez), and composer in the band Joga.
He has worked with hundred of bands and musicians including Christian Escoude, Toots Thielmans, Didier Lockwood, Les Etoiles, Richard Galliano, Christian Vander, Antoine Herve, Aldo Romano, Marcia Maria, Babik Reinhardt, Birelli Lagrene, Sylvain Marc, Olivier Ker Ourio, Michel Jonasz and Michel Petrucciani. He has also released five solo albums under his own name.
