Jennifer Young is the touring and recording bassist for the Travis Larson Band, the acclaimed California-based rock fusion trio that’s been stirring up their signature brew of power trio riffs and grooves for over a decade. Well known for her ass-kicking approach and undeniable stage presence, Jennifer handles the tricky unison runs, chordal tapping, and kinetic form changes with unapologetic heat and light.
Believing that good musicians surround themselves with great musicians, TLB has had the privilege of working with such greats as Steve Lukather, Victor Wooten, Steve Morse, Vinnie Moore, Ted Nugent, Ronnie Montrose, Vinx (Sting, Herbie Hancock) and Bill Bruford, to name a few.
With five records and two full-length performance DVDs, all co-produced by Young, the award-winning Travis Larson Band is firmly rooted as one of instrumental music’s premiere acts and has found their way into festivals, theaters, clubs, clinics and music industry events across the nation.
“Finally, a bass amp that sounds clean and pure, with punch and headroom to burn,” says Jennifer. “My MoMark is exquisitely simple, masterfully innovative, and it kicks ass. Markbass amps remind bass players why they love playing bass.”
