Trevor (aka Axeman) plays with UK chart-topper Ms. Dynamite, and has also worked with George Michael, Phil Collins, Faith Evans, Lighthouse Family, Roachford, Omar, and more.
Born in South London, Trevor "Axeman" McKinley has been on the UK pro circuit for 15 years, playing everything from gospel, funk, R&B & jazz to rock, pop and hiphop. He currently performs with Ms Dynamite, supporting her hit album "Judgement Days". They've toured extensively in Europe and have been featured at Live8, Mobo Awards, MTV European Music Awards, a live recording at Abbey Road Studios & Jools Holland as well as on Top of the Pops, MTV, cd:uk and Popworld.
For six years, Trevor toured in the US and Europe with the Broadway musical Harlem Gospel Singers. This also included a special Millennium Night 1999/2000 performance at the Vatican in Rome for the late Pope John Paul.
Trevor worked with George Michael on his forthcoming Soul Tributes album, and with Phil Collins on BBC's Greatest Love Songs show. He's also backed up Faith Evans, Lighthouse Family, Roachford, Omar, Don-e, Lynden David Hall, Shaun Escoffery, Esther Bennett (formerly of Eternal) and many more.
